The first refer to God's commandments written on the tablets handed off to Moses.

To say that something was written was to say that it must be believed because God said it.

Here's a typical instance from Nehemiah: On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that the Ammonites and the Moabites should not come into the congregation of God forever. Neh 13:1.

The Old Testament was written from the point of view of people--the Israelites--who believed themselves to be surrounded by enemies from which only their jealous vengeful God could save them.

The Ammonites and Moabites were semitic peoples who lived in regions of modern Jordan and worshipped gods linked with Molech--baby-burning fiery furnace.

Similarly, anything written today to be read and spoken in The News is believed, even if it's a lie.

The Ammonites and Moabites burned babies; Governor Walz abetted a billion-dollar Somali pandemic fraud.

It is written: They're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats.

So we see how, by allowing Das Turd to be The News, the New York Times has enabled his intention to be believed as God.

And I'm no god.
